I have been practicing since 2007 after I received my graduate degrees in Mental Health Counseling and Education Specialty from the University of Florida. I have previously been licensed as a Radiographer and Radiation Therapist, working with persons who have cancer.

My favorite metaphor is based on a rubber band. "Like people, rubber bands come in different shapes, sizes, textures, lengths and flexibility. If you stretch a rubber band to the max it typically bounces back into shape due to elasticity." Based on this, I firmly believe in starting where you are to work on breaking down those walls of narrow thinking to bounce back with your elasticity to positive thinking and push towards resilience. Having faith in yourself marks the initial stride, and by seeking guidance, you've already embarked on the next leg of your journey. You hold the resilience needed to conquer the challenges you've encountered, even if it feels daunting.
