I've worked with adults, children and families for the last 20 years recognizing behaviors and patterns. I have helped clients in alleviating anxiety, depression, family issues, addiction, PTSD, life transitions treating their mental health issues. I use different treatment modalities working with each client to suit their individual needs. When we are able to reprogram the mind, letting go of old patterns, we begin the healing journey and get in touch with our authentic selves.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session we will build rapport. I will help my client feel comfortable in order to build an atmosphere of trust and a good foundation for our relationship. We will talk about past family issues and patterns that have brought them to where they are and what they are struggling with now. We will build a treatment plan together and in each session work towards a different goal.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am a great listener, compassionate, empathetic with the ability to put myself in the client's shoes to effectively help them create coping mechanisms suitable to their needs.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I help the patient become aware of their cognitive and behavioral patterns and assist them with changing them. Assist clients with learning about the cognitive triangle and different methods of how they can apply it to their lives.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use acceptance and mindfulness strategies along with commitment and behavior-change strategies to increase psychological flexibility. I use ACT therapy to teach client's to "just notice", accept, and embrace their private events, especially previously unwanted ones.
