As a former football coach, I have developed an approach to therapy that will allow me to utilize coaching concepts to address the needs of my clients. It encompasses a direct approach to address problems with the a level of understanding and empathy that will support a change in behavior. This works well with my CBT background. Therefore I have branded myself as The Therapy Coach. Which means that I am more than just a therapist to my clients.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The initial session is my opportunity to review information presented on the intake form with the client. There will be general dialogue about the client's history with their issue(s), past life experiences and building rapport.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strength is my vast knowledge and experience with dealing with individuals that have experienced some very traumatic events in their lives. Also, my understanding for the need for cultural competence in therapy. This allows me to learn from my clients as I provide services.
