Hello, I'm Lucia (Luci). Do you find it difficult to work through life's struggles, and are starting to feel overwhelmed? Are you finding your boundaries being moved and displaced leaving you with little to no self-care with feelings of anxiety and depression. I help individuals manage their feelings of anxiety to avoid feeling overwhelmed and burnout. Working in a nonjudgmental environment where you can verbalize your feelings and find solutions when it comes to dealing with work, relationships and finding ways to stay healthy and energized. Using an approach that works with mind, body, and spirit. Integrating different forms of therapy such as cognitive behavioral therapy using mindfulness along with person centered therapy will help you develop personal coping tools that work for you. Therapy can seem scary but once the realization that using a safe place to heal and grow will help make you a stronger more productive in your personal life along with your social and work life. Working together to find what is holding you back from being the person you know you can be.
After the first session a treatment plan will be put in place and each goal will be worked on to help with the issue that is bringing you to seek counseling. We will review the goals that will be addressed. At times homework will be given, such as an action such as short walks, or sitting outside, and other homework assignments may be written. Each treatment plan is tailored to the individual client.
Psychotherapy used in sessions are Behavoral Therapy, Cognitive Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Humanistic/Experiental therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy
I have worked in diverse fields and have patience for clients and do not push until a client is ready to share in an area of their life they have experienced trauma.
