I seek to create a safe and supportive space where you can experience acceptance while we explore your experiences with anxiety, depression, or trauma. In our first session, we will introduce ourselves and talk about what you can except in therapy. Then, I'll get to know what brings you to therapy. Together we can determine some short and long term goals to help guide our future sessions.
At the end of each session, we will spend a few minutes talking about how you experienced our time together that day. We can discuss what aspects of the therapy are working for you and which are not. This enables us to create a therapy experience unique to you that works best for you.

I have used Narrative Therapy in my practice to help client's recognize that they are separate from their problems. This is important because prior to therapy, mental health struggles can feel like they consume our lives. Creating this distance from life's difficulties allows one to explore the problem in a new light and makes room to discover joy and meaning.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy aims to help people understand the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. In my work, CBT helps client's recognize how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are increasing their mental health symptoms. We then work to challenge these negative automatic beliefs and develop the skills to take control of our thoughts and modify our behaviors
