(he/him)
I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Founder of Aurelius Mental Health, providing personalized, evidence-based psychiatric care for adults experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, trauma-related symptoms, burnout, and stress-related conditions. I work with clients seeking diagnostic clarity, structured treatment, medication management, and meaningful improvement in daily functioning. My approach combines thoughtful psychiatric evaluation, collaborative treatment planning, precise medication management, and supportive therapeutic strategies. My goal is to help clients move toward stability, clarity, emotional wellness, and improved quality of life. Mind. Medicine. Meaningful Change.
Our first session is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation designed to provide clarity and direction. We will review your symptoms, mental health history, medical history, current stressors, medications, treatment goals, and functional concerns. When appropriate, we will discuss diagnosis, medication options, non-medication strategies, safety considerations, and next steps. My goal is for you to leave the session with a better understanding of what you are experiencing and a clear treatment plan moving forward
My greatest strength is providing clear, structured, and individualized psychiatric care. I specialize in ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, trauma-related symptoms, mood concerns, and emotional overwhelm. Clients often appreciate my calm, direct, supportive, and results-focused approach. I focus on diagnostic accuracy, medication optimization, education, and practical treatment goals that support real-life functioning.
I work best with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma/PTSD, mood disorders, and emotional overwhelm. I especially enjoy helping high-functioning individuals who feel exhausted, anxious, or emotionally stuck despite appearing successful externally. My approach is supportive, structured, and collaborative, with a focus on clarity, stability, and practical treatment goals. I strive to create a nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout their mental health journey.

I identify as
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
By utilizing ACT interventions, I help my clients reduce experiential avoidance, strengthen coping strategies, and improve overall functioning. We often combined ACT with medication management and other psychotherapeutic modalities, creating a comprehensive treatment plan tailored to each individual’s needs.

Jean was a true professional and, more importantly, an excellent listener. He was nonjudgmental, calm, and inquisitive throughout the entire experience. He was able to build a strong therapeutic relationship with me, which made me feel comfortable enough to open up and be vulnerable.
