I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and I take a person-centered approach to therapy, meeting my clients exactly where they are and empowering them to take the lead in their healing journey. I have witnessed my clients trade anxiety for peace, stress for healthy boundaries, and hopelessness for a sense of fulfillment in life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session, you can expect to collaborate with me in highlighting your hopes and expectations for treatment. With established rapport and understanding, we may then work together to prioritize your goals and explore treatment options that could best meet your needs. Until then, we will spend more time building upon our therapeutic relationship.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I take value in creating a safe space in my sessions that is free from judgment; setting a tone that uplifts, empowers, and inspires authenticity and a sense of peace and hope. I am a firm believer that a smile and a dash of humor go a long way.

My treatment methods

Strength-Based

I delight in the rapport-building phase of therapy, as it allows for authenticity and connection to blossom, helping me to learn my client's strengths and the most effective interventions to utilize in their treatment. I utilize a melting pot of treatment modalities in my approach and strength-based is woven into each one. The most common interventions I practice are cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy. I delight in creating a safe space in my sessions that is free from judgment; setting a tone that uplifts, empowers, and inspires authenticity and a sense of peace and hope. Understanding that many of my clients come to this space feeling a sense of doubt, helplessness, and despair, I find it necessary to highlight their value in a way they not only can see but believe.
