In our first session together, here's what you can expect
I discuss what therapy is and isn't and I review the consents and confidentiality policies. I ask questions about the the client's background as well as their current situation to get to know them and what brought them into therapy.

Often couples have difficulty examining the dynamics between them and how each of them has a role in miscommunication or conflicts

Mindfulness practices asssit clients in recognizing their emotions thru sensations in their bodies and techniques to manage their emotions

If I could check off all the above descriptions for Barbara’s sessions I absolutely would! Her guidance & knowledge helps this 79yr old walk out of the office with new tools to improve my life ! Barbara is very good at making you feel comfortable and your feelings matter ! She has excellent insight with her suggestions and guidance to help you live your best life . I highly recommend Barbara to anyone who is a work in progress, and wants better mental wellness.
