I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to providing a warm, supportive space where you feel seen and understood. My experience includes crisis work and supporting individuals affected by sexual assault, trauma, ADHD, and autism, as well as helping clients navigate complex family dynamics. I’ve also worked with adolescents in school settings and provided care in skilled nursing homes and rehabilitation facilities, allowing me to support clients across all stages of life. I use a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and supportive psychotherapy to help you understand your thoughts, build healthier coping strategies, and feel more grounded in your daily life. In our work together, I offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences, gain clarity, and develop practical tools. I understand how overwhelming it can feel to take the first step toward support, and I want you to know you don’t have to do it alone. In our work together, I offer a calm, compassionate space where you can talk openly, feel understood, and sort through what’s been weighing on you. My role is to walk alongside you, help you make sense of your experiences.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During your first session, you can expect a welcoming and supportive space where we begin getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, any current challenges you’re facing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I may ask questions about your background, including your emotional, social, and mental health history, to better understand your experiences and needs. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, share any concerns, and get a sense of my approach and style. Together, we’ll start identifying goals for therapy and discuss how we can move forward in a way that feels comfortable and meaningful for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my therapeutic approach is the balance between structure and support. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with supportive psychotherapy to help clients not only understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, but also feel genuinely heard and supported throughout the process. My approach is collaborative and goal-oriented, while still allowing space for clients to process their experiences at their own pace. I focus on helping clients develop practical, real-life skills they can use outside of sessions, such as managing negative thinking patterns, improving emotional regulation, and building healthier coping strategies. At the same time, I prioritize creating a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore challenges openly. Clients often find that this combination leads to increased self-awareness, greater confidence, and meaningful, lasting changes in how they navigate daily life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with adolescents and adults who are seeking support in managing anxiety, depression, life transitions, and everyday stressors, and who are motivated to build practical skills, gain insight, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives. I am best positioned to serve individuals who are open to self-reflection, ready to explore the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and interested in a structured, goal-oriented approach to therapy. My ideal clients may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to move forward, but are willing to engage in the therapeutic process, develop healthier coping strategies, and work toward greater emotional balance, confidence, and overall well-being

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I provide therapy using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based and highly effective approach for addressing a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges. CBT focuses on the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and actions, helping you understand how unhelpful patterns may be contributing to stress, anxiety, depression, or other concerns. In our work together, we will identify and gently challenge negative or distorted thinking, while building practical skills to improve coping, problem-solving, and emotional regulation. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and goal-oriented, allowing you to develop tools you can use both in and outside of sessions. CBT is typically a structured and time-focused therapy, making it ideal for clients who are seeking meaningful, lasting change and a clearer path toward improved well-being.
