Hi, my name is Samantha. I am a licensed therapist and have been working in the field for more than 15 years. I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment that allows clients to explore obstacles related to a wide variety of concerns including but not limited to substance abuse, anxiety, depression, chronic health conditions, perinatal and post partum depression. I use various therapeutic approaches to help get you to your goals. Some of those include solution focused therapy, strength base therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
In our first session we will spend a little time getting to know each other and discuss what led you to look into therapy. We will talk about your goals of therapy and work together to create a treatment plan that works best for you.
I am a great listener and enjoy the collaborative approach. This is your time and your goals are important.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive behavioral therapy is great to help identify and target unhelpful and sometimes detrimental thoughts, learn coping strategies, and in turn change behaviors.
Strength-Based
I like to focus on a client's strengths, positive qualities and then use those abilities to reduce problematic symptoms and improve daily quality of life.
