I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in 2015, and I have dedicated many years to providing compassionate, evidence based care for individuals across the lifespan. Although I specialize in adult and geriatric populations, I serve patients ages 14 and up, supporting both their medical and mental health needs. My goal is to meet people where they are, listen without judgment, and create a treatment plan that honors their strengths, values, and goals.

Although I specialize in adult and geriatric populations, I serve patients ages 14 and up, supporting both their medical and mental health needs.

I have worked with a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma related concerns, ADHD, and challenges that arise during life transitions or chronic illness. In every situation, my purpose is the same: to help people regain stability, improve their daily functioning, and rediscover a sense of hope and control in their lives. The impact I strive to make is meaningful and lasting. Through personalized care, I help individuals: • Understand their symptoms and feel empowered in their treatment • Develop healthy coping strategies • Improve relationships and quality of life • Build confidence, resilience, and emotional balance • Move from surviving to truly thriving Every person deserves the chance to feel better, think clearly, and live a life that feels meaningful. My mission is to provide the support, guidance, and tools that make that possible.

Treatment methods

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational Interviewing is a conversation style that helps people talk openly about change and discover their own reasons for wanting to improve their health, habits, or life situation. Instead of pushing or lecturing, I use MI to guide people to explore what matters to them. I found that It Works because People change more easily when they: • Feel heard, not judged • Stay in control of their choices • Talk out loud about their own motivations • Decide on small, realistic steps they truly believe in and adapt to it

Solution-Focused Brief Treatment

Solution Focused Brief Therapy is a short, goal driven psychotherapy that helps people focus on what’s working, not just what’s wrong. It builds on strengths, successes, and small steps to create meaningful change. It helps with thDepression • Anxiety • Motivation issues • Substance concerns • Relationship stress • Health behavior change • School/work performance ese diagnosis My experience this therapy keeps conversations positive, hopeful, and fast-moving. Research shows many people improve in 4–8 sessions and it helps people find small, doable steps toward the future they want—using strengths they already have.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Depression changes how a person thinks, which changes how they feel. • CBT helps identify negative thinking patterns (like “I’m a failure” or “Nothing will ever get better”). • Then it teaches new ways to interpret situations, manage stress, and create small positive actions. • It is highly structured, practical, and has strong scientific backing. It is used in • 8–20 weekly sessions • Track thoughts, emotions, and behaviors • Practice new skills between sessions • Set weekly goals (sleep, activity, connection) CBT helps with • Low motivation • Feeling hopeless • Negative thinking

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness-based therapy teaches people to slow down, observe their thoughts and feelings, and respond with clarity instead of emotional reaction. It has been one of my most effective, evidence- based supported treatments for depression relapse, anxiety, stress, and chronic pain. I utilize Mindfulness-based approaches with combination of appropriate Psychotropic medications back for: • Depression (especially recurrent depression – MBCT is highly effective) • Anxiety disorders (generalized anxiety, panic, social anxiety) • PTSD (used carefully with grounding) • Stress disorders and burnout • Chronic pain • Insomnia • Substance-use recovery • ADHD (attention training benefits) It is also used for: • Emotional dysregulation • Anger management • Eating disorders • Medical conditions with stress components (fibromyalgia, IBS, hypertension)
