Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for taking that step! I am a licensed counselor in the state of Indiana. I received my degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2020, majoring in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and specializing in Addiction studies as well. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, anger management, & motivation, self esteem, and confidence. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. I feel extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to help others and I hope to help you take the next step and support you through this process.
In our first session we will work on introductions and starting the foundation for the therapeutic relationship that will allow us to work together to achieve your goals. We will discuss your specific goals for therapy so that we can create an individualized treatment plan to guide the therapeutic process.
I feel as though my greatest strengths as a therapist is not only my ability to meet you where you are currently at, but to work with you to get you moving in the direction that you would like to go! I take pride in my ability to see and utilize someone’s strengths to promote change and improve motivation!
Megan Mason, LMHC, LCAC offers therapy covered by Managed Health Services (Managed Medicaid), Medicaid - Managed Health Services and UnitedHealthcare/Optum - Medicaid in Indiana.
I have been using CBT for 3+ years. With the use of CBT, we can work together to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We will then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns and implement new behaviors, with the goal of helping you live a less anxious and stressed life.
Everyone has positive qualities and we will work together to build on yours! Identifying strengths and utilizing those strengths to overcome life obstacles is the goal!
Rather than focusing on limitations, we will focus on what you can do! Utilizing SFBT has been beneficial to gain insight into a realistic goal and working together to identify changes required to achieve that goal. Through therapy we will focus on identifying successful changes and using strengths to continue to promote change towards achieving your goal!
