Hi I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I began my career working with Child Protection services. I later worked as a child therapist but found I didn't enjoy sitting on the floor all day. I moved into working with adult women at a correctional facility. I found working with the women very rewarding as most of the women were there for charges related to drugs. I later moved into a therapist position to support those struggling with legal matters and drugs in order to prevent them going to prison. I became a manager of other therapists which was also rewarding but came back to my first love which is helping individuals recover.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Clients can expect a relaxed atmosphere and to the point. Together we will explore why they are in therapy and what they want to achieve. We will explore childhood, and patterns of development from childhood that have played into current relationships. Together we will discuss the best therapeutic techniques to support the change wanted.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am passionate about my client's recovery and will provide insight with tools that will support the change clients are looking for. I can identify core beliefs that are creating barriers and have the tools to eradicate years of learned behavior in as little as 3 months.
