LMFT, 7 years of experience
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in perinatal mental health, Infant mental health, and family psychotherapy. My passion is working with women who are having a challenging time during their pregnancy or after giving birth (pre/postpartum). Bringing a child into this world is both an exciting and yet life changing experience that is filled with many different emotions such as joy, sadness, anger, hurt, anxiety...etc I have experience working with adults with a wide range of concerns including perinatal/postpartum, depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, parenting issues, separation, and grief and loss. In addition, I have experience working with infants & young children and families in areas of trauma, attachment, and behavioral challenges. My approach is to help you to process your feelings, emotions, and pain through CBT, Attachment-Based, Psychodynamic, Family-Systems and many others. My treatment style varies based on the needs of each individual or family and my style is to collaborate together to develop a course of treatment based on your needs. I am proud of you for taking the first step by seeking support! Let’s get to work!
Some of our most exciting times can also feel stressful and overwhelming as we are adjusting to the changes and transitions that life has to offer. Often times we wonder are these feelings normal? Why do I feel sad, guilty, angry, or overwhelmed with my feelings when I should feel happy? Together we will speak the unspeakable and uncover the underlying feelings behind the stress so that you can learn to embrace each change that life has to offer.

My biggest strengths are that I am passionate, dedicated, and very straightforward in my approach in therapy. I tend to take a collaborative approach in therapy to support you in taking control of your life, identify and work through the tough moments, and finding new tools to overcome challenges.
