New to Grow
Hi, I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I'm here to support you through life's challenges with care, understanding, and a collaborative approach. I work with adults who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck or emotionally drained due to anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, or relationship challenges. Many of the clients I work with are balancing multiple responsibilities and are looking for a space where they feel understood while also gaining tools to move forward and improve their relationships with others and themselves. I understand starting therapy can feel like a big step, and my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, heard and genuinely supported. Together, we'll explore what's been weighing on you, make sense of patterns that may be limiting you, and begin building practical tools to help you feel more balanced and in control of your life journey. I use evidence-based approaches and incorporate mindfulness techniques to help you stay present, build self-awareness, and manage overwhelming thoughts and emotions. My approach is collaborative and goal-oriented, focused on helping you build insight, strengthen coping skills, and feel more in control of your emotions and daily life. Together, we can work toward improving communication, setting healthy boundaries, and creating more balanced fulfilling relationships. Overtime, my goal is to help you feel more confident, grounded, and equipped to handle challenges in a way that aligns with your values. You don't have to go through this alone, meaningful change is possible, and I'd be honored to support you along the way.
Your first session is a chance for us to connect in a safe, relaxed and nonjudgmental space. We'll talk about what's been going on in your life, what's been weighing on you, and what you'd like to get out of therapy. Just come as you are. I'll guide the conversation in a supportive way, asking questions to better understand your experiences, background and current concerns. Together, we'll begin identifying patterns, clarifying your goals and exploring areas we can focus on moving forward. We'll start to develop a plan tailored to your needs, at a pace that feels comfortable and manageable for you. Beginning therapy is a meaningful step, and creating space to show up for yourself consistently can support deeper growth and lasting change over time.
One of my greatest strengths is my ability to create a space where clients feel genuinely heard, supported and understood, while also guiding them toward meaningful change. I take a warm, person-centered approach and integrate evidence-based methods with mindfulness to help clients slow down, build self-awareness, and better understand their emotional patterns. I support clients in becoming more present and intentional. I focus on meeting clients where they are, while also supporting them in developing insight, improve emotional regulation, strengthen coping skills and feeling more in control of their emotions. My goal is to help clients feel more grounded and confident as they work toward creating lasting, meaningful change in their lives.
I am best positioned to support adults experiencing anxiety, depression and stress related to life transitions, relationships or feeling overwhelmed in their daily lives. Many of the clients I work with feel stuck, emotionally drained or unsure how to move forward, and are looking for a goal-oriented and supportive approach to change. I work well with individuals who are motivated for growth and open to building insight, increasing self-awareness, and learning practical tools. Together, we focus on developing healthier coping strategies, improving emotional regulation, and taking active steps forward creating more balance and meaningful change in their lives.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In our work together, I use CBT to help you make sense of how your thoughts affect how you feel and respond to situations. This is a structured, goal-orientated approach to help clients better understand the connection between thoughts, emotions and behaviors. Together, we will identify patterns that may be contributing to distress and develop practical strategies to support healthier thinking, improved coping and long-term emotional balance.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use DBT to help clients build practical skills for managing intense emotions, reducing stress and improving relationships. Together, we'll focus on skills such as mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance and effective communication so you can feel more in control and balanced in your daily life.
Motivational Interviewing
In our work together, I use MI to help clients clarify goals, resolve ambivalence, and strengthen their motivation for change. This approach is collaborative, supportive and focused on empowering you to make decisions that feel right for you.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
In our work together, I focus on creating a space where you feel comfortable being yourself without fear of judgement. I'll meet you where you are, listen with empathy, and support you in gaining clarity, confidence and direction in your life.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I incorporate Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to help clients identify goals, build on strengths, and create practical solutions. This approach is goal-oriented and focused on helping you move forward in a meaningful way, that is both efficient and effective.
