Hello, my name is Thrishanna Clark. I am a nurse practitioner seeing clients in Virginia and Washington. I have been working in the mental health field for over 15 years. I specialize in psychotherapy, medication management and holistic interventions. I treat various mental health conditions. My clients describe me as warm, knowledgeable and extremely approachable. My goal as a mental health professional is to simply help make YOU the BEST that YOU CAN BE!!
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then discuss the specific challenges you're facing. Step 1 of us working together will include a comprehensive assessment of the symptoms you are experiencing, your psychological and medical history along with goals for your treatment. Treatment plans may include therapeutic strategies, medication recommendations or lifestyle changes. This will help me create a tailored plan to help you reach your goals. I want you to feel comfortable working with me as we get to know one another. Remember this will be a compassionate, nonjudgemental environment where the goal is to help you live your best quality of life.
Having over 15 years of experience in the field of mental health, I have seen many individuals face many challenges affecting their mental health and quality of life. I am knowledgeable of treatments that actually works based on the individual's unique needs. I am knowledgeable in psychotherapy and medication management. I also value holistic interventions.

This is a type of therapy where I will help you become more aware of your thoughts, feelings, surroundings and how to respond to them in a positive way. This type of therapy is great at reducing stress, anxiety and improving your mood. Examples of some techniques used are meditation, breathing exercises and guided lessons.
