About me

Hello, I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in Texas and Alabama. I am also a certified personal trainer through NASM. I help individuals reconnect the mind and body through somatic psychotherapy and mindfulness practices. I started private practice in 2019 but have been in the field of social work since 2014. I help young adults and older adults build on healthier coping skills and reconnect with themselves by becoming more attuned with their mind and body.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session helps us make sure we are a good fit for each other. It is always important to make sure you feel comfortable with your therapist, especially when it comes to being emotionally vulnerable with someone. We will also go over treatment expectations and explore the current challenges you are facing.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I've had the opportunity to work with a variety of people with different backgrounds and challenges. Through my years of experience, I've been able to help individuals identify how past experiences influence what drives them today. I also use the knowledge I've gained over the years related to food, mood, and physical movement to help people explore new ways to live a healthier lifestyle.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I've worked with a vast group of individuals. However, my main areas of expertise include life transitions, anxiety, depression, and ADHD. I enjoy helping adults navigate through unresolved issues and exploring new healthy coping skills that work for them.
