LCMHC, 12 years of experience
Greetings, My name is Kelli Cryer and i am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of North Carolina. Let’s be honest, the ebbs and flows of life can sometimes derail us and at other times, we find that we excel. The journey forward isn’t always clear and is often met with obstacles that feel insurmountable. As a therapist, I strive towards working together in a collaborative effort to cultivate an environment where clients grow in their security to express themselves, BOTH authentically AND freely. My counseling practice has included experience working with system-involved youth, couples, families, working professionals, college students, and community partners. One of the hardest parts of the journey is showing up. Let’s work toward liberating yourself until you are the empowered you again! I look forward to the possibility of joining you on your journey.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
It is of high priority and a personal goal of mine to offer a safe and non-judgmental enviroment. I believe that one's ability to experience a sense of holisitic security within the theraputic space can be the catalyst toward personal validation, acceptance, vulnerability, trust and esteem. I value being a part of the process to support clients in developing a healthy sense of self, exploring the depths of thier personal and communical empowerment while modeling respect, affirmation and, accountability.
I love working with emerging adults, college students, working professionals, BIPOC
