I am a therapist dedicated to supporting individuals navigating life transitions and the challenges that often come with them, such as anxiety, stress, and uncertainty. I also work with individuals experiencing grief, as well as a range of other mental health concerns. I work with clients who may feel overwhelmed by change and are seeking greater clarity, stability, and self-understanding. Through a collaborative and supportive approach, I help clients develop practical coping skills, build resilience, and gain confidence in managing their experiences. My goal is to create a meaningful impact by empowering clients to navigate transitions, process difficult emotions, and move forward with greater awareness, balance, and a stronger sense of direction in their lives.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and what brings you to therapy. You’ll have space to share your concerns, experiences, and goals at your own pace, while I ask some questions to better understand your background and current challenges. We’ll also begin identifying what you’d like to get out of therapy and discuss how we can work together moving forward. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard and understood.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach is collaborative, practical, and tailored to your unique needs. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with mindfulness techniques to help you better understand your thoughts, manage emotions, and respond to challenges more effectively. I focus on helping you build real-life coping skills you can use outside of sessions, while also creating space to process deeper emotions such as grief or stress related to life transitions. Clients often find that our work together not only increases self-awareness but also leads to meaningful, lasting changes in how they navigate their lives.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are individuals navigating life transitions that bring a wide range of emotional, cognitive, and behavioral challenges. I am drawn to working with those experiencing changes such as career shifts, relationship transitions, or shifts in identity, which can often lead to anxiety, stress, or feelings of uncertainty. In my work, I support clients in making sense of these changes, building coping skills, and developing a stronger sense of stability and self-understanding during times of transition.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my practice to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In sessions, I support clients in identifying and challenging unhelpful thinking patterns and developing more balanced perspectives through techniques like cognitive restructuring and behavioral interventions. I also incorporate psychoeducation and practical skill-building to help clients apply these strategies outside of sessions. Overall, I find CBT to be an effective, structured, and collaborative approach that empowers clients to manage distress and create meaningful change.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I incorporate mindfulness into my practice to help clients develop greater awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations in the present moment. I use techniques such as grounding exercises, breathing strategies, and guided awareness to support emotional regulation and reduce reactivity. Mindfulness helps clients observe their experiences without judgment, which can increase distress tolerance and improve overall coping. I find it to be a valuable complement to other therapeutic approaches, as it promotes self-awareness, acceptance, and more intentional responses to challenging situations.

Grief Therapy

I use grief therapy to support clients in processing loss and navigating the emotional, cognitive, and behavioral impact of grief. In sessions, I provide a safe, validating space for clients to express their experiences while helping them make meaning of their loss and adjust to life changes. I incorporate interventions such as narrative exploration, emotional processing, and coping skill development to support adaptation over time. I approach grief as a non-linear process and tailor my work to each client’s unique needs, helping them integrate their loss while continuing to engage in meaningful aspects of life.
