About me

Welcome—I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a deep passion for helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges and build stronger, healthier relationships. Whether you're facing a specific issue or simply looking for support and growth, I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion and care. With over 13 years of clinical experience, I bring a deep well of knowledge and compassion to our work together. I specialize in supporting clients through communication challenges, conflict resolution, trauma, depression, and anxiety. I genuinely look forward to learning about your story. My diverse background working with individuals from many walks of life helps me build meaningful connections across cultures and experiences. Together, we’ll develop a personalized treatment plan that reflects your unique needs and goals.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, my goal is to get to know you and understand what’s brought you here. We’ll focus on your main concerns and how you’ve been feeling lately. If you’re feeling overwhelmed or unsure where to begin, that’s completely okay—many people feel that way at first. I’ll ask gentle, guiding questions to learn more about your story, but more than anything, I want to listen. This is your space. Everyone’s journey is different, and together we’ll create a plan that feels right for you and your goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

For more than a decade, I’ve worked closely with at-promise youth, ages 12–18, helping them navigate challenges with school, family, trauma, and identity. That experience taught me how early struggles can shape the way we relate to ourselves and others later in life — and it gave me a strong foundation in patience, creativity, and meeting clients exactly where they are. Today, I bring that same passion and skill set into my work with teens, young adults, and adults who are navigating life transitions, relationship stress, and emotional overwhelm. My background allows me to see both the immediate concerns and the bigger picture, helping clients connect past experiences to present challenges and future goals. What makes me unique is my ability to blend deep empathy with practical strategies — validating my clients’ experiences while equipping them with tools to communicate, set boundaries, and create meaningful change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I specialize in supporting individuals who are navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, and the stress that comes with change. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck, whether that’s due to a new phase of life, the weight of past experiences, or ongoing relationship stress. In our work together, I provide a safe and supportive space where you can process your story, gain clarity, and learn new ways to communicate your needs. I help clients build practical coping skills, such as mindfulness, reframing negative thoughts, and setting healthy boundaries, while also encouraging self-care and emotional balance. My clients are often people who are thoughtful, motivated, and open to growth — they may not have all the answers yet, but they are ready to explore both past and present experiences to find new ways forward. Together, we work on finding balance, strengthening connections, and creating a sense of stability and confidence in everyday life.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I always begin with a client-centered approach, meeting you exactly where you are. Your story matters, and I want to understand what you need—on your terms. My role is to support you in the way that feels right for you. And if you’re not sure what that looks like yet, that’s perfectly okay—we’ll figure it out together.
