Hello, so happy to have you here. I am particularly sensitive to the needs of adults who have experienced trauma and stigmatization I believe that individuals have the power to make the changes necessary to better themselves, and the role of a therapist is to assist them in better understanding, coping with, and processing emotions and memories tied to those traumatic experiences.
You've already taken the most important first step for yourself by looking for a therapist who may be the right fit. I'm available for any further questions you may have, so please do not hesitate to reach out. And remember, you are absolutely worthy of love and healing.
With my "human first, therapist second" mindset, I hope that clients will know and feel that no matter who they are, what experiences they have gone through, or what they look like, they are deserving of love.
I am trained in both EMDR (eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing) and perinatal/postpartum mental health. With a trauma-focused lens, I aim to provide and build a safe space to process any difficult experiences that you feel may be hindering you.
