I ground my work in empathy, collaboration, and a genuine belief in people’s strengths. I see you as a whole person shaped by your relationships, culture, and lived experiences, and I walk alongside you as you make sense of what feels overwhelming or unclear. Over the past 10 years, I’ve worked with clients across different stages of life, with a strong focus on adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, family dysfunction, and self esteem challenges. My style is steady, compassionate, and intentional. I offer a grounded space where you can explore your experiences openly, build clarity, reconnect with your sense of self, and move forward with confidence and purpose.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, my focus is on helping you feel comfortable, understood, and supported. We’ll begin by getting to know each other, reviewing confidentiality, and establishing clear boundaries so you know what to expect in our work together. I’ll invite you to share what brings you to therapy, gather background information about your history and current concerns, and collaborate with you to identify meaningful goals. This session is also a chance for us to build trust and create a safe, steady environment where you can speak openly. My communication style is warm, reflective, and validating, and I work to ensure you feel empowered and centered in the process. Together, we’ll outline next steps and begin shaping a path that aligns with your needs and intentions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths lie in my compassion, presence, and ability to help you feel genuinely seen and safe. I approach therapy with curiosity, care, and a deep respect for your lived experience. I’m creative in the way I integrate therapeutic modalities, tailoring each session to fit your unique needs rather than relying on a one size fits all approach. Whether we’re exploring emotions, building skills, or processing deeper experiences, I stay attuned to what supports your growth. I value authenticity, collaboration, and creating a space where you can show up exactly as you are.

My treatment methods

EMDR

During sessions, we use secure, web based software that allows me to guide you through bilateral stimulation—such as visual cues or gentle tapping prompts—while we focus on the thoughts, emotions, and body sensations connected to your distress. I provide clear structure and support throughout the process, helping you stay grounded as your brain reprocesses difficult experiences and moves toward more adaptive, balanced beliefs.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In telehealth CBT sessions, we talk through what’s been weighing on you and look at how your thoughts, feelings, and habits might be feeding anxiety, depression, or stress. We work together to spot unhelpful patterns, challenge them, and practice simple, practical tools you can use between sessions. It’s a down to earth, skills focused approach that helps you feel more grounded and in control in your day to day life.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT in individual therapy is especially helpful if you feel emotions very intensely and want practical ways to stay grounded. In our telehealth sessions, we talk through what you’re experiencing and practice skills like mindfulness, distress tolerance, and emotion regulation in real time. Together, we look at what triggers big emotional waves, explore healthier ways to respond, and build tools you can use between sessions so you feel more steady, supported, and in control.
