Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Counsellor (LPC) based in Texas. I received my Masters from Texas State University and have been practicing for 14 years. I provide individual and family therapy to address a variety of issues. I have extensive training in CBT, solution-focused therapy, and play therapy. My primary area of specialization is in working with school-aged children and individual adults. I specialize in working with clients with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and school related issues (ARD/504).

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths are in my years of experience working with clients, school districts (helping parents and students navigate 504/Special Education accommodations/supports) and in helping college students carry over their 504/Special Education accommodations.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with school-aged children and individual adults. I do a lot of work with college-aged students looking to find a career path as well as individual adults looking to change careers. I work with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief and loss, and OCD primarily. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is one tool to help clients examine how their thoughts affect how they choose to respond in particular situations. I typically use CBT with clients presenting with anxiety and depression symptoms.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Person-centered therapy provides a safe space for clients to become more self-aware and find their own solutions.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Solution Focused Brief Treatment is a treatment method I often utilize with clients that are only using EAP sessions or do not plan to attend therapy long-term. The focus of Solution Focused Brief Treatment is on present circumstances and future aspirations. The goal is to help the client develop tools and skills based on existing strengths.
