Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In your first session, we’ll do a full intake, including a review of your history, evaluation of current symptoms, and discussion of your lifestyle and goals. During the evaluation interview I use a combination of CBT and Medication management to promote health and wellness to help you reach a stable more productive life. I provide compassion and am committed to delivering care that is empathetic, non-judgmental, and patient-centered.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I offer evidence-based, conservative care while staying open to cutting-edge advances in psychiatry and integrative medicine. I’m thoughtful but unafraid to explore new solutions when appropriate, and I create a safe, respectful space where clients feel heard, empowered, and supported. I can evaluate and treat persons struggling with mood disorders (depression, bipolar), anxiety disorders (panic, generalized anxiety, OCD, social anxiety), insomnia, PTSD, grief, and psychotic disorders.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Life can get hard, no matter how old you are or how “great” you appear to have it. Navigating through daily stressors can take a toll on you, and make it hard to concentrate at work and(or) school, communicate with your family and friends, and do the things you usually love. These stressors can include relationship concerns, peer conflicts, continuing to make “bad” decisions; unresolved childhood concerns, un-fulfillment at work, or difficulties dealing with past trauma. Whether you're looking to improve focus, manage anxiety, overcome trauma, or find balance, I provide a supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered I love to work with anyone struggling to find stability and mental wellness in there life but just need some support.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT therapy to help recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life. Combination of CBT and Medication management through evaluation, treatment, and prescription to populations of adult to geriatric. Recommendations are given for therapy or chemical dependency if needed.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Combination of solution focused options that can change the path and outcome of current thinking patterns or behaviors

Integrative

I take an integrative approach to mental health that combines evidence-based psychiatric care with holistic strategies such as lifestyle modifications, nutritional support, and mind-body practices. I consider how factors like sleep, stress, diet, and inflammation impact mental well-being and tailor treatment plans to support healing on all levels. This allows me to offer personalized, whole-person care that aligns with each patient’s goals and values

Compassion Focused

I practice compassion-focused care by creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where patients feel seen, heard, and supported. I recognize the impact of trauma, shame, and self-criticism on mental health and use empathy, validation, and collaborative dialogue to build trust and resilience. My goal is to help patients develop self-compassion as a foundation for healing and growth.

I really enjoy our first session it was really mind blowing because I don't usually open up to people but for some reason I felt that Dr. Tracie understood what I've been going through and I really like the fact she listens to me and that felt good

I was feeling very broken with limited options on improving my outlook and dread. Ms. Grider was a fabulous listener, who exemplified empathy and compassion. She offered me a tool kit and advice that made me hopeful. I did not feel judged or shamed for any issues or questions I raised.
