Hi! I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker based in Massachusetts. I received my MSW degree from Simmons University and have been practicing since 2021. My clinical interests include harm reduction, PWUD, queer and transgender communities, justice-centered practice, peer mentorship, anti-capitalism, narrative therapy, and solution-focused brief treatment. My goal is to support individuals in practicing reflection, accessing lasting self empowerment, and transforming their conditions.
In our first session together, we'll discuss expectations, preferences, and explore what specific challenges you're facing. We will then check-in about how you’d like to proceed from there.
Using approachability, active listening, integrity, and over a decade’s worth of skills gained from professional collaboration, I aim to support people to focus on their goals, show up for themselves, and utilize interdependence to grow and adapt.
It is difficult to grow and heal when we are constantly viewing ourselves as a problem. Using the narrative method, I encourage individuals to create their own narratives, understand the picture of their life, and trust in themselves and their inherent worth.
All individuals have strengths that can guide and inform the therapeutic process. My practice centers individuals' strengths and communal strengths as key to healing and transformation.
The most common reason people seek therapy is to address transitions and crises that arise and impact their well-being until a resolution can occur. I use solution focused brief treatment to assist individuals in learning how to cope and adapt to life's challenges.
