Hilda Anigbogu
My clinical specialty focuses on comprehensive medication evaluation and management tailored to each individual's behavioral lifecycle. I practice from a holistic, person‑centered framework, prioritizing authentic, empathetic, and evidence‑based care. I am passionately committed to collaborative treatment planning that honors each patient’s unique needs and lived experience. With more than a decade of combined clinical and leadership experience in healthcare, I bring a strong interest in developing care plans that thoughtfully integrate pharmacotherapy with psychotherapeutic principles to support sustainable mental wellness. In addition to my clinical work, I serve as a clinical instructor, independently training and mentoring emerging practitioners in the mental health field.
In addition to my clinical work, I serve as a clinical instructor, independently training and mentoring emerging practitioners in the mental health field.
In addition to my direct clinical practice, I am a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, serve as a clinical instructor, and have independently trained a number of practitioners who are now working in the mental health field. By mentoring emerging providers and modeling person‑centered, hopeful, and evidence‑informed care, I extend my impact beyond individual encounters to the broader mental health community.
First session
During the initial visit, I conduct a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment to understand the whole person, exploring how presenting symptoms relate to an individual’s habits, behaviors, environment, and lived experience. I complete all assessments in a relaxed, respectful setting that prioritizes privacy and the protection of health information. Each person’s wellness journey forms the foundation of our therapeutic relationship, and through a close, flexible, and collaborative approach, I work with clients to set an optimally productive pace for care, determining the frequency of follow‑up appointments based on evolving needs and progress.
Strengths
I bring extensive expertise across a wide spectrum of mental health conditions, with a strong clinical focus on medication management, depression, post‑traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), attention‑deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety disorders and phobias, stress‑related concerns, insomnia, obsessive‑compulsive disorder (OCD), and bipolar disorder. My approach integrates evidence‑informed practice with a person‑centered lens, ensuring that each individual receives care that is precise, responsive, and tailored to their unique needs.
Ideal clients
I work best with individuals seeking a clear, collaborative, and evidence‑informed approach to their mental health—especially those navigating depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, OCD, insomnia, or stress‑related concerns. My ideal clients value a clinician who listens deeply, explains options clearly, and tailors care to their unique needs and lived experience.
