My name is Pam Robinson. I am a licensed professional counselor providing telehealth throughout the state of Texas and in-person care in Center, Texas. I am committed to providing compassionate, trauma-informed care for all ages. I have six years of experience working with individuals struggling with post-traumatic stress, anxiety, depression, grief, bi-polar disorder, and substance use disorder.
In the first session, I will focus on listening to you and learning about your experiences and collaboratively we will create a treatment plan that aligns with your goals for counseling. I will ask you to complete assessments to help identify problematic symptoms and to measure treatment progress. In follow up appointments, I will listen, provide skills training, provide education, and recommend home practice activities. Throughout therapy we will reassess goals, check-off completed goals, and add new goals as you discover new directions you would like to explore.
I believe that my ability to quickly develop rapport with my clients is one of greatest strengths. I also have the ability to match my treatment style to a method that works best for the client. For example, I'm able to provide a solution focused approach to clients with time limited specific goals. And for clients that need gentle supportive progress toward goals, I can help clients to build the skills needed to make progress.
I feel honored when a client invites me to join them on their journey of healing from past emotional injuries. I enjoy teaching clients how to live in the present and how to create and achieve their personal mental health goals.
Pam Robinson offers therapy covered by UnitedHealthcare/Optum - Medicaid in Texas.
