Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Florida. I received my MSW from Florida International University in Miami and have been practicing in the South Florida community for over 20 years. I have experience working with a broad population of clients and patients with various mental health disorders, such as Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD; along with histories of childhood traumas, such as domestic violence and sexual abuse.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, I will then conduct an evaluation to gather your history, work with you on identifying your challenges and problem areas, and develop a treatment plan to outline goals, interventions, and to be guide for follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with an adult psychiatric population for the past 20 years, I've developed strong analytical skills, and a client centered style that is both empathic and strengths based. My style of practice has proven to help my clients by gaining insight into their root problems/ and facilitates their expression of thoughts and feelings through the support of a caring Clinician. In addition, my solution focused orientation is well-suited for creating a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am best positioned to serve adult women between the ages of 18-75. The best work I've done in my career has been with this population.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have been using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my 20+ years of practice. I assist my patients in gaining insight into their areas of concern; and help them to develop coping skills for managing their disorder-- by focusing on developing strategies to change their thought patterns and behaviors to improve their daily functioning and overall well-being.
