I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and EMDR-certified therapist. In my practice history, I have worked with a diverse range of clients facing various challenges, including lack of coping resources, complex trauma, physical health issues, self-esteem struggles, life transitions, racism, and grief. I am trained in several therapeutic modalities, such as EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, Narrative Therapy, and Expressive Arts. I hold a master's degree in Holistic Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University and have completed graduate degrees in Expressive Arts Therapy from San Diego University for Integrative Studies and Ecopsychology from Naropa University.
You can expect an introduction to therapy and your therapist in your first session. The pace at which you progress in your therapy will be determined by your comfort level and the clarity of your goals. You will develop your therapy resources at your own pace and work collaboratively with your therapist.
