I became an LMFT because I have a deep drive to help people heal and see their lives feel balanced again. Together, we’ll identify the patterns that are hurting you and build a new foundation that feels authentic to who you are. In the first session we will be getting to know one another. I will be asking questions from the biopsychosocial assessment so I can hear your story directly from you. We will discuss what brought you to therapy, what you would like to accomplish, and begin figuring out together what the first step is towards accomplishing those goals.
My greatest strength is that I truly care about my clients as a whole person. I create a safe space where they can be fully comfortable expressing themselves and being themselves. My approach is collaborative. I like to hear what's not working from my clients directly and what they want to change. I have a variety of methods in my therapy tools box, and I utilize whatever fits best for my clients goals and skills. Therapy is not a race to the finish line. It is a slow and steady process full of ups and downs, but I will be with you every step of the way. You are not alone in this journey and we will navigate it together. We will know when its time for you to granduate from therapy when you are confident in your ability to keep up with skills you have learned, and your ability to maintain them on your own in your everyday life.
