I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who believes therapy should feel human, comfortable, and genuinely useful. My style is warm, conversational, supportive, and direct when needed. I work with people navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationships, self-esteem, and those times when life simply feels overwhelming. I use humor when appropriate and want you to feel like you can show up exactly as you are—without having to have everything figured out first.

First session

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. I want you to leave feeling heard, comfortable, and hopeful that you have someone in your corner. We’ll talk about what’s been going on, what you’d like to change, and what you hope to gain from therapy. There’s no pressure to tell your entire story at once—we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable while beginning to identify some practical goals for our work together.

Strengths

I bring warmth, humor, honesty, and genuine curiosity into the therapy room. I’m not a therapist who simply sits quietly and nods—I’ll listen carefully, but I’ll also ask questions, offer perspective, and gently challenge you when it can help you grow. I believe therapy works best when you can show up as yourself, so I work to create a comfortable, down-to-earth space where we can talk about the hard things without everything feeling clinical or intimidating.

Ideal clients

My ideal client is someone who may feel overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward. You might find yourself overthinking, struggling with relationships, navigating a major life transition, or simply feeling like you’ve lost touch with yourself. You don’t have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. I enjoy working with clients who are willing to be curious about themselves, explore patterns, and try new ways of coping and connecting. Together, we can work toward helping you feel more confident, grounded, and comfortable being yourself.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help you understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence one another. Together, we’ll identify patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, or feeling stuck. We’ll work on challenging unhelpful thoughts, developing more balanced perspectives, and practicing practical coping strategies you can use outside of therapy. My approach is collaborative and flexible—I use CBT as a tool while also making space to process what you’re experiencing and understand where certain patterns may come from.
