My name is Marisa D’Amico and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with several years of experience working with a wide range of ages individually, families, and couples in a variety of settings, such as in home, school, community and private practice. I have experience addressing high risk behaviors, relationship conflicts, and parenting techniques. I have experience working with anxiety, ADHD, depression, trauma, disruptive/oppositional behaviors, and self-esteem/body image concerns.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, you can expect us to begin with introductions and take some time to get to know one another. We'll discuss your current challenges and what brings you to therapy, as well as explore your goals and what you hope to achieve. Together, we'll tailor a plan that aligns with your unique needs and preferences, setting the foundation for our work together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

It’s important to me to meet you where you are at and help navigate through life’s issues and support you in finding the skills needed to conquer any issue. I incorporate compassion, empathy, humor, and always strive to foster a non-judgmental and safe space for healing and growth to begin.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy working with clients who are navigating areas such as self-esteem and confidence issues, communication or relational difficulties, grief, managing life transitions, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and wanting to improve their mental health. My focus is on helping clients develop effective strategies to manage their emotions, improve their relationships, and build resilience during periods of change. I aim to create a supportive environment where clients feel empowered to address their concerns and work towards their personal goals.
