In our busy and chaotic lives, it's sometimes difficult to make space for ourselves. As a Licensed Clinical Social Work with more than ten years experience working with individuals and families, I can support you in finding that balance and making time for yourself. You deserve it! I offer holistic, client-centered, trauma-informed, and empowering support via evidence-based approaches and the arts to support my clients on their healing journey. If you're looking for someone who will support you in areas of your identify (race/gender/sexuality), relationships, faith, parenting, trauma, and life in general, I am here to support you. I have an extensive history working with survivors of trauma. From this experience, I aim to ensure that clients receive the services that they need and deserve by utilizing evidence based approaches (CBT, Exposure, Psychotherapy, Holistic). I also prioritize creating a space where clients feel encouraged, motivated, and most importantly heard and seen.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Clients should expect a lot of questions during the first session. They should also feel comfortable to ask questions themselves. We're both getting to know each other. I also take the initial session to briefly discuss laws and policies, but the majority of the time is spent getting to know the client and trying to determine what brought them to therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I've seen and heard a lot, so I am shocked by very little. Clients can feel comfortable sharing everything from the mundane and everyday aspects of their life to the traumatic and earthshaking. I create a space where clients can talk about everything from meal planning, to their explorations of kink. I strive to always create a space where clients can discuss ANY pressing matter in their life.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

For my clients who are looking for brief treatment to support them in a difficult situation, I have experience in this area.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use a mixture of CBT and psychodynamic work with my clients in helping them to conquer and understand negative and ruminating thoughts that are preventing them from functioning as they wish.
