Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Life transitions happen throughout various stages of our lives. Whether it is related to aging, starting a career, relationships, death of a loved one, or just challenging seasons. These transitions may cause changes in our mental health. I seek to empower my clients to facilitate change in their lives so they may design the life they need and manage their mental well-being.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

With this treatment method I work with the patient to stay focused on the present using mindfulness and acceptance. Lets learn skills to remain positive during those difficult waves of life together! This is an action oriented treatment. Are you ready to commit to yourself and your values?

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

This behavioral therapy allows patients to gain a better understanding of themselves and behavior patterns. Learn to recognize distortions in thinking that just create more problems, increase self esteem, learn to problem solve, improve functioning and quality of life.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness includes present moment awareness, meditation, and breathing exercises. Slow down and learn to stress reduction techniques.

Psychoeducation

Psychoeducation can provide education for patients to manage their mental health concerns while they learn: problem solving, self-assertiveness, & communication training.

Reality Therapy

This is a counseling approach that helps people learn to be more aware of their choices and how they can be more in control of their own outcomes.
