Zachary Moore
I’m Zachary Moore, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in Alabama, the District of Columbia, Florida, North Carolina, and Texas. I am also a qualified clinical supervisor in Florida, North Carolina, and Texas. My specialized training through the U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence includes cognitive behavioral therapy, rational emotive behavior therapy, and solution-focused therapy. I work with adults, Veterans, children, adolescents, seniors, couples, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, family conflict, parenting concerns, and major life transitions. My approach is compassionate, authentic, direct, and practical. I consider the biological, psychological, social, cultural, and family factors affecting each client while helping them develop useful tools, overcome barriers, and create meaningful, lasting improvements in their quality of life.
Briefly about myself, I was trained by the US Army Medical Command Center and School with specifics on CBT/REBT and solution focused therapy.
First session
Clients can expect to feel heard, respected, and supported without judgment. We will explore their concerns, strengths, relationships, and goals, then identify practical next steps. My approach adapts to the needs of each individual, couple, or family while creating a clear and collaborative path forward.
Strengths
One of the greatest strengths I bring to therapy is my ability to look beyond immediate symptoms and understand the whole person, including their relationships, family dynamics, values, culture, environment, and life experiences. These factors often shape how we cope, communicate, form relationships, and respond to challenges. My approach is authentic, direct, and solution-focused while remaining compassionate and individualized. I help clients connect insight with action by recognizing patterns, strengthening existing abilities, and developing practical tools they can confidently apply outside of therapy.
Ideal clients
My ideal clients are individuals, couples, and families who want to better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, and create meaningful change. They may be experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, parenting difficulties, infidelity, substance use concerns, or major life transitions. I am especially well positioned to support Veterans, military-connected families, and clients who value an authentic, direct, compassionate, and solution-focused approach focused on practical tools and lasting improvement.
