About me

I’m a warm, collaborative therapist who works with adolescents and adults, especially thoughtful, high-achieving, gifted, and neurodivergent clients. Many of the people I work with seem capable and put-together on the outside but privately struggle with anxiety, ADHD, overthinking, perfectionism, burnout, or feeling like they are never quite doing enough. I also work with clients navigating relationships, family concerns, life transitions, identity, and bicultural experiences. My approach is practical and flexible. Some sessions focus more on understanding patterns, relationships, and experiences that have shaped you. Other sessions are more focused on what is happening right now and what might actually help. I want therapy to feel like a place where you can better understand yourself, feel supported, and make changes that carry over into your life outside of sessions.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and for me to understand what has been going on, what has been feeling difficult lately, and what you would like to be different. We will talk about your current concerns, relevant history and relationships, strengths, and anything else that helps me understand the bigger picture. You do not need to come in with a perfectly formed goal or know exactly what to say. I try to make the first session feel comfortable and conversational while still giving it enough structure to be useful. By the end, my hope is that you feel heard and understood, have a clearer sense of what we might work on together, and have a good sense of whether we feel like the right fit.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I’m warm, curious, and engaged in sessions. I give clients space to think and reflect, but I’m not someone who will only sit back and nod. I ask questions, point out patterns I notice, and gently challenge things when I think it may be helpful. I also try not to force therapy into a set formula. Some people need more space for insight and reflection, while others want more structure, problem-solving, or concrete tools. I tend to adjust based on the person and what seems most useful in the moment. One of my strengths is helping clients connect the dots between what they are feeling now and the relationships, experiences, or patterns underneath it, while still keeping therapy grounded in real life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work especially well with thoughtful, motivated people who may seem capable and put-together on the outside but internally feel anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or like they are never quite doing enough. Many of my clients are navigating ADHD, overthinking, perfectionism, burnout, life transitions, relationship or family concerns, or questions about identity and belonging. I also enjoy working with high-achieving, gifted, and neurodivergent clients who want to better understand themselves and the patterns that keep showing up in their lives. As a MENA American therapist with a bicultural background, I have a particular interest in working with clients navigating culture, family expectations, and bicultural experiences. I also have experience working with first-generation Americans and understand that identity, family, and cultural expectations can all shape what brings someone to therapy. You do not need to have everything figured out before starting. Curiosity and a willingness to explore are enough.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use ACT to help clients relate differently to difficult thoughts and emotions, clarify what matters to them, and make choices that feel more aligned with their values.

Attachment-based

I use an attachment-based approach to help clients understand how early and current relationships may shape their needs, expectations, and patterns with other people.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients notice patterns between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and develop practical strategies for responding to challenges in more helpful ways.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

I consider culture, identity, family expectations, and lived experience as important parts of therapy and work to understand each client within the context of their own background.
