I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing therapy to young adults and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, relationship and family challenges, and life transitions. I understand that life can feel overwhelming at times, especially when you’re balancing expectations, responsibilities, and personal goals while trying to maintain your emotional well-being. My goal is to offer a steady, supportive space where you don’t have to carry those experiences alone. In my work, I strive to create a warm, non-judgmental environment where clients feel safe, heard, and understood. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, and I work alongside you to help build insight into your thoughts, emotions, and patterns while also focusing on practical ways to create meaningful change in your daily life. Together, we explore what may be contributing to distress or feeling stuck, while also identifying strengths, values, and supports that can help guide your healing and growth. I support clients in developing effective coping skills, improving emotional regulation, strengthening communication in relationships, and navigating life transitions with greater clarity and confidence. Many of the individuals I work with are motivated for change but may feel unsure of where to start or how to move forward. Therapy can provide structure, support, and encouragement as you begin to take steps toward the life you want to build. I aim to meet you where you are, at your own pace, and help you move forward in a way that feels realistic and sustainable. My hope is to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and connected to yourself as you navigate life’s challenges. If you’re looking for a supportive space to gain insight, build coping skills, and work toward meaningful, lasting change, I would be honored to support you on that journey.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, the focus is on getting to know you and beginning to build a comfortable, supportive therapeutic relationship. I understand that starting therapy can feel new or even a little uncertain, so I aim to create a welcoming space where you can feel at ease, ask questions, and share at your own pace. We will begin by exploring what brought you to therapy at this time, including your current concerns, symptoms, or life stressors, as well as what you hope to gain from the process. This helps us begin to identify your goals and what meaningful change might look like for you. I also take time to learn more about your background, including relevant personal history, relationships, past experiences, and any previous therapy or supports that have been helpful. Alongside this, we’ll also explore your strengths, coping skills, and what has helped you get through difficult times in the past. I believe these strengths are an important foundation for the work we do together. The first session is also an opportunity for you to get a sense of my approach and to see if therapy feels like a good fit for you. I encourage questions about the therapy process, what sessions will look like moving forward, and anything else you may be wondering about. By the end of our first meeting, we will begin to outline initial goals and collaborate on a direction for treatment that feels realistic, supportive, and tailored to your needs. While therapy is an ongoing process, this first session helps establish a strong foundation built on trust, understanding, and collaboration. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the steps ahead.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I offer a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and genuinely cared for. My goal is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you as you work toward meaningful, realistic change at a pace that feels right for you. I work with young adults and adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I also support clients who may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of their next steps, but are open to exploring growth and change. My approach is integrative and tailored to each individual, drawing from evidence-based methods including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Together, we explore patterns in thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while also building practical coping skills that can support you in everyday life. In our work together, we focus on breaking challenges down into manageable steps, identifying your strengths, and building on what is already working. I also emphasize self-compassion, emotional awareness, and developing healthier ways to cope with stress and relationship difficulties. A key part of therapy with me is finding balance between reflection and action—making space to understand your experiences while also moving toward clear, achievable goals. Many clients find this helps them build confidence, feel more grounded, and gain clarity about what they want for their lives. My hope is to support not only relief from current struggles, but also long-term growth, resilience, and a stronger sense of self. If you’re looking for a supportive space to feel understood while working toward meaningful change, I would be honored to support you on your journey toward healing, growth, and lasting emotional well-being.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with individuals who may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of their next steps, but are open to exploring change and growth. I often support clients navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, relationship stressors, and building motivation and consistency toward their goals. In our work together, I offer a warm, collaborative, and supportive space where you can slow down, better understand your experiences, and feel more connected to yourself. My goal is to help you make sense of what you’re going through without judgment, while also supporting you in identifying what feels most important and meaningful in your life right now. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, reflective, and growth-oriented, even if they feel unsure about how to begin or where to focus their energy. Therapy can be a place to explore patterns that may feel unhelpful, build awareness around your thoughts and emotions, and develop practical tools that support everyday life. Together, we work at a pace that feels comfortable and realistic for you. This may include clarifying goals, strengthening coping skills, improving emotional balance, and building confidence in your ability to navigate challenges. I believe that meaningful change often comes from both insight and small, consistent steps forward. If you are looking for a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and encouraged while also working toward meaningful change, I may be a good fit for you. My approach is centered on meeting you where you are and walking alongside you as you move toward the life you want to create.

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) to help clients identify their strengths, clarify goals, and create practical steps toward positive change. Together, we focus on resilience, what’s already working, and small, meaningful shifts that build confidence and momentum. Using techniques such as goal setting, scaling questions, and identifying successful coping strategies, I provide a warm, collaborative space where clients feel supported, empowered, and encouraged as they work toward meaningful progress.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, clarify goals, and develop practical tools for positive change. Together, we focus on building resilience, strengthening coping skills, and creating small, meaningful shifts that improve daily life and emotional well-being. Through CBT techniques such as reframing negative thoughts, increasing self-awareness, and developing healthier coping strategies, I help clients feel more confident, balanced, and empowered in navigating life’s challenges.

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help clients explore their goals, strengthen motivation, and move toward meaningful change at their own pace. Together, we focus on your strengths, values, and what matters most to you, while gently exploring any ambivalence about change in a supportive, non-judgmental space. Using MI techniques such as open-ended questions, reflective listening, and affirmations, I help clients build confidence, clarify direction, and take steps that feel realistic and aligned with their personal goals.
