Whether you're grappling with self-esteem issues, parenting difficulties, or the complexities of adoption, I offer personalized guidance tailored to your unique journey. From the early stages of adulthood to the transitions into retirement and the responsibilities of caring for elderly parents, I'm here to provide compassionate support every step of the way.
Treatment methods
Attachment-based
I use attachment-based therapy to help clients navigate their current relationship challenges by helping them look into their unique attachment patterns formed in early life. Through tailored interventions, I assist clients in fostering secure attachment styles, which in turn supports them in boosting self-esteem, alleviating depression, and managing anxiety. By exploring past experiences and cultivating emotional regulation skills, I empower clients to forge healthier connections, leading to greater satisfaction in their relationships and personal growth.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In our sessions, I teach work with you using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to guide you through overcoming challenges and achieving personal growth, empowering you with practical tools and insights to navigate life with confidence and resilience.
Couples Counseling
In our couples counseling sessions, I utilize Life Scripts to help you both uncover the early core messages, beliefs, and attachment styles that influence your relationship dynamics. Through Attachment Communication Training (ACT), we then focus on honing active listening skills and fostering stronger attachments, guiding you towards deeper understanding, empathy, and connection in your relationship journey.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
I am Level 1 trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), an approach that helps us understand ourselves with greater compassion and curiosity rather than judgment. Together, we explore the parts of you that may carry fear, hurt, self-doubt, or feel the need to protect you, helping those parts feel understood so you can experience more calm, connection, confidence, and freedom in your life.
