(she/her)
Hello and Welcome! I understand that engaging in therapy, especially if it's the first time, can feel intimidating but you're making the right choice. Just remember you are not alone. In fact, you are in a very common place with millions of others. You deserve a warm, non-judgmental, and safe space to improve your quality of life. I'd like to introduce myself to help you feel a little more comfortable. I am a Florida Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have been in practice for 10 years and have served in inpatient, outpatient, and community health settings. I am most passionate about working with adults and elders who suffer from anxiety, depression, and life stressors such as breakups, loneliness, fear, grief/loss, aging, insecurity, attachment issues, career challenges, adjustment issues and just general "I don't know what I'm doing with my life." I continue to attend trainings to be an informed therapist. I am fluent in both English and Spanish. *I always offer the opportunity to have a free 15-minute phone consultation - PRIOR - to scheduling your intake session to answer any questions you may have and see if I am a good fit for you. I do not accept insurance for couples sessions or family therapy (individual sessions only), please contact me directly for rates. Let's work together!
In our first session together, we'll start with a brief introduction, then dive into the specific challenges you are facing and how I can support you. This will help me create a tailored treatment plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
My biggest strength is forming therapeutic bonds by creating an environment of safety and trust. I offer a warm, encouraging and non-judgmental safe space where you can speak candidly and receive validation, acceptance, compassion and guidance.
I specialize in working with adults and elders facing anxiety, depression, navigating life transitions, end-of-life challenges, and life stressors. My approach provides support, guidance, and practical strategies to help clients navigate these difficulties with resilience and clarity.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have extensive experience utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my clinical practice, particularly with adults and older adults managing anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I use CBT to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and build greater emotional resilience. By integrating structured techniques such as thought records, behavioral activation, and cognitive restructuring, I support clients in gaining insight and making meaningful, lasting changes in their daily lives.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) into my clinical work to support clients in building emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness skills. With experience using DBT principles in both individual and group settings, I help clients navigate intense emotions, improve relationships, and reduce self-destructive behaviors. I tailor DBT strategies to meet each client’s unique needs, offering a structured yet compassionate approach that promotes balance, self-awareness, and long-term emotional well-being.
Psychoeducation
I use psychoeducation as a foundational tool in my therapeutic work, helping clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. With experience tailoring psychoeducational interventions to a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship issues. I empower clients with knowledge that fosters insight and self-efficacy. By integrating education into sessions, I support clients in developing coping strategies, reducing stigma, and becoming active participants in their own healing process.
Positive Psychology
I integrate positive psychology into my practice to help clients identify strengths, build resilience, and cultivate a greater sense of meaning and well-being. Through techniques like gratitude exercises, strengths-based reflection, and goal setting, I support clients in shifting focus from problems to possibilities, fostering hope and long-term personal growth.
