During the introductory session, we will work collaboratively to identify therapy goals. In each session, we will focus those goals and other needs the client may have in that moment. I support clients as they tap into necessary tools that will help build a better quality of life.
My counseling style is interactive. I like to orient each session based on the clients' current needs. I utilize mindfulness and cognitive behavior tools. I like to guide clients towards positive thought processing using various tools such as thought restructuring, worksheets, journaling, and breathing techniques.
My strongest areas in counseling are to listen and truly be empathetic with clients. Throughout my career I have worked with diverse populations and enjoy experiencing people as they discover their strengths. I am very energetic and always look for solutions to help overcome challenges.
