Ayesha Crawford

Welcome, and thank you for your time in learning more about me! My name is Ayesha and I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida. I have over 14 years experience working in the mental health field. I have worked with children, families, couples, and individuals struggling with various issues related but not limited to stress, divorce, addiction, depression, female infertility, anxiety, grief, loss, trauma, and infidelity among others. I work from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strengths Based, and Person-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Family Systems Therapy framework. I believe that we are essentially equipped with insight on who we are and passion to learn more about ourselves in order for use to lead healthy lives. But sometimes the picture is unclear or hidden under other things in our lives. In order to unveil and begin the journey of leading healthier lives, it is important for me to create a space that is open-minded, non-judgmental and a unconditional positive experience when someone shares their personal story or experiences with me. Our relationship with our self and others has worth and is useful to explore in counseling.
