🌻Hi, my name is Janette Rodriguez, LCSW and welcome! My therapeutic approach is centered around authenticity, compassion, and empowerment. I believe that true healing happens when we create a safe and gentle space to explore what’s holding us back while also recognizing and nurturing the strengths we often overlook, like resilience and inner wisdom. While I am formally trained in a variety of evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Somatic Practices, and EMDR trained. I understand that life doesn’t always fit neatly into a box. Because of this, I tailor my approach to fit your unique needs, blending different techniques and frameworks to support your journey in a way that feels right for you. I know that starting therapy can feel daunting, and opening up about what we’ve been holding inside can feel even scarier. But within that vulnerability lies the opportunity for growth. Together, we’ll work to uncover your strengths, build confidence, and move toward your best self both in and outside of therapy. My goal is to help you navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity, peace, and resilience.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I believe therapy is a deeply collaborative experience, with you in the driver’s seat and me serving as your navigation system helping guide you on your journey while being there to support you with encouragement, insight, and, when needed, your favorite song to keep the ride enjoyable. In our first session, we’ll start by exploring your reasons for seeking therapy, your goals, and any challenges or barriers that may be in the way. This is also a time for us to check in with each other and see if we have good chemistry and are a good fit for the work ahead. We’ll dive into your previous mental health treatment history to get a fuller picture of where you've been and where you want to go. From there, we’ll co-create a roadmap that outlines your therapeutic journey focusing on your needs, strengths, and what will work best for you. My role is to help you feel empowered, confident, and supported as we move through this process together.

As a therapist, my strengths lie in my ability to offer unwavering support, deep empathy, and fresh perspective. I’m here to help you identify your strengths often ones you may not yet see in yourself, and empowering you to use them as tools for growth and healing. I create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can express yourself freely, knowing that you’ll be met with compassion and understanding every step of the way. My goal is to make sure you feel heard, valued, and supported as we work together to navigate life’s challenges and uncover your inner strength.
