Licensed to practice in North Carolina and accepts 44 insurances. Specializes in Anxiety, Coping Skills, Depression
Hi there! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based out of North Carolina. I received my Masters in Social Work at East Carolina University. I have been a social worker since 2010 and became a therapist in 2016. I have worked in many different healthcare settings. I truly love what I do and can not imagine any other career path.
In our first session, we'll start with brief introductions, and then dive into your specific challenges. We will start wherever you are. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
In my career, I have often been told that I am a great listener and that others can tell I am a caring person. I also hear that my voice is calming and my approach is supportive.
I am a champion for women. I enjoy being able to support and assist clients in overcoming personal challenges. My clients are ready to see a change in their lives and desire a safe place to explore how to make their desired changes. I want my clients to feel seen, heard, and supported. To know they are never alone on whatever journey they are taking.

CBT has a vast about of strategies and coping skills to change the way we see our world. What we do know is how we think affects how we feel and we feel determines our behaviors. With CBT developing a different way of thinking can result in significant changes in our lives.
