New to Grow
As a licensed therapist in California, I specialize in supporting individuals navigating complex emotional and life challenges. My ideal client is someone experiencing anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, relationship stress, grief, or major life transitions who is seeking a compassionate, culturally responsive, and supportive space to process their experiences and better understand themselves. I strive to help clients build healthier coping skills, improve emotional regulation, strengthen self-worth, and gain insight into patterns that may be impacting their overall well-being and relationships.
In our first session together, you can expect a welcoming, low-pressure space where my main goal is to help you feel comfortable and supported rather than to have everything figured out right away. I’ll take time to introduce myself, explain how therapy works, and review important information such as confidentiality, its limits, and a few practical details so you know what to expect moving forward. I’ll also invite you to share what brought you in, what’s been feeling most difficult lately, and what you hope to gain from therapy, while emphasizing that you can move at your own pace and only share what feels safe and comfortable for you. Throughout the session, I’ll focus on listening with care, curiosity, and without judgment, allowing space for your story to unfold naturally rather than rushing toward solutions. We may begin to identify some initial themes, patterns, or goals, but there is no pressure to resolve everything in the first meeting. Instead, the focus is on building trust, understanding your needs, and starting to clarify what support might be most helpful for you. By the end of our time together, my hope is that you’ll leave with a general sense of direction, a clearer understanding of what working together might look like, and some initial ideas about goals or areas of focus for therapy. Most importantly, I want you to feel a sense of safety and reassurance that this is a collaborative process, and that it’s completely okay to take your time in deciding whether this space feels like the right fit for your healing journey.
My therapeutic work focuses on creating meaningful, collaborative connections and supporting clients as they explore self-love, communication patterns, personal identity, and healing from challenging life experiences. I bring a nuanced, culturally responsive understanding to multicultural concerns, family dynamics, and young adult issues, offering a supportive and nonjudgmental space where individuals can deepen self-awareness, build resilience, and move toward more authentic self-understanding. Drawing from evidence-based practices, including CBT and trauma-informed approaches, I collaborate with clients to develop personalized strategies that support emotional wellness and lasting change. Together, we work to identify unhelpful thought patterns, strengthen coping skills, and improve emotional regulation in ways that feel practical and sustainable. Whether you're experiencing workplace stress, relationship challenges, anxiety, or are seeking deeper personal insight and growth, I am dedicated to walking alongside you with respect, empathy, and clinical expertise throughout your healing journey.
My ideal client is someone experiencing anxiety, emotional overwhelm, relationship stress, or life transitions who is seeking support and personal growth. They are open to exploring how their thoughts, emotions, and past experiences impact their current functioning while developing healthier coping skills and self-worth. I aim to provide a supportive, empathetic, and trauma-informed environment where clients feel safe processing their experiences and building emotional resilience.
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapeutic approach that focuses on identifying the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. CBT helps clients recognize unhelpful or distorted thinking patterns that contribute to emotional distress and teaches strategies to challenge and reframe those thoughts into more balanced and realistic perspectives. Through CBT interventions, clients develop healthier coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and increase problem-solving abilities to better manage anxiety, depression, and other stress-related concerns.
