Hello, my name is Consuelo, and I have been in the social services field for 15 years and therapy for 10. My background is working with the underserved and most vulnerable population. I have always had a passion to make the slightest difference in the lives of others. Assisting with change for the future of those that have feelings of hopelessness and want to break the cycle of generational trauma and have a desire for a more fulfilling life.

I have worked with youth and families for my entire career and understand the difficulties being faced with right now. I will be compassionate to your needs and take a client centered approach to develop results that you will feel empowered and excited for what the future holds.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have been utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for the 10 years I have been working with youth and families. This method can quickly help in identifying specific challenges and then learn coping skills to better manage the stressors life can bring. CBT will better assist you with understanding how your thoughts, feelings and behaviors play a role in how we react to a wide range of situations. This model will aid in breaking negative thought patterns.

Motivational Interviewing

This is a standard practice utilized to help you developed the understanding on how to become successful in making change and achieving goals set for yourself. Building the confidence to take the steps needed for a better quality of life.
