Hello and welcome! Are you struggling to find balance and fulfillment in your daily life? Is anxiety or stress making it difficult to cope with everyday challenges? Are you navigating a major life transition and could use some support? Are you tired of letting negative thoughts and self-doubt hinder your progress? …if you answered yes to any of the above, I am here to help. I understand the weight of uncertainty and change can sometimes lead to overwhelming feelings of anxiety and depression. If you've experienced this, I would love to assist you in navigating your journey. I believe that everyone can heal and grow, and my role is to provide a safe and supportive space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Through a collaborative and individualized approach, we will work together to develop practical strategies and coping skills to help you overcome obstacles, improve your relationships, and live a more fulfilling life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will delve into your reasons for seeking support at this time. Together, we will explore various areas of your life and assess how they may be impacting your overall well-being.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My approach to therapy is characterized by two key strengths: my innate capacity for empathy and my adeptness at building genuine connections with diverse individuals. These qualities allow me to create a safe and nurturing environment where you feel truly understood and valued. With a broad background in working across various populations, I bring a well-rounded perspective to the table, ensuring that I can effectively adapt to the unique needs of each individual.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am best positioned to serve clients who are in early adulthood, particularly those dealing with anxiety, depression, or navigating significant life transitions. My approach is solution-focused, helping clients build practical strategies to manage their challenges and move forward with confidence.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

This method deeply resonates with my core belief that healing begins in a safe, empathetic, and nonjudgmental environment. In my practice, I prioritize building a strong therapeutic relationship based on unconditional positive regard, empathy, and congruence. Rather than directing or interpreting my clients’ experiences, I focus on creating a space where they feel genuinely heard and understood. I trust in their innate capacity for growth and self-direction, and I see my role as walking alongside them, offering reflection and support as they explore their thoughts, feelings, and goals.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

In my experience with Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), I've found it to be an empowering and goal-oriented approach that resonates well with a wide range of clients. I appreciate how it shifts the focus from problems to solutions, helping clients recognize their own strengths and past successes. In practice, I use SFT by guiding clients to envision their preferred future and identify small, manageable steps they can take to move toward it. I often incorporate techniques like the miracle question, scaling questions, and exploring exceptions to help clients build momentum and confidence.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT’s structured, goal-oriented nature allows clients to understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and gives them practical tools to challenge unhelpful thinking patterns. In sessions, I often use thought records, behavioral experiments, and cognitive restructuring techniques to help clients develop more balanced thinking and adaptive coping strategies. I tailor interventions to meet each client’s unique needs, and regularly incorporate homework assignments to reinforce skills between sessions. I often integrate elements of mindfulness and acceptance when appropriate to support emotional regulation and cognitive flexibility.
