New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing compassionate, client-centered care for children, teens, and adults. I specialize in supporting individuals and families navigating anxiety, depression, emotional and behavioral challenges, and life transitions. My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT-informed strategies, and play-based interventions, with a focus on building practical coping skills and meaningful, lasting change. I also offer parent coaching and, for clients who desire it, the integration of Christian faith into the therapeutic process.
In our first session, we will focus on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, personal history, and what you hope to gain from our work together, while also giving you space to share at your own pace. We’ll begin identifying your goals and discuss what support might be most helpful moving forward. My priority is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable and heard as we begin this process together.
My approach is client-centered and focused on creating a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and understood. I prioritize holding space for your experiences at your pace, while gently supporting growth and change when you’re ready. I integrate evidence-based strategies in a flexible way that meets your individual needs and goals.
I am best positioned to support children, teens, and adults who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or struggling to manage emotions, stress, or life transitions. Many of my clients come in experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, difficulty coping with change, relationship challenges, or feeling disconnected from themselves or others. With children, I often work with those experiencing behavioral challenges, emotional dysregulation, difficulty with transitions, or struggles related to family changes, school stress, or big feelings they don’t yet have the words to express. I also support parents who are looking for practical tools, structure, and guidance in strengthening their connection with their child and managing behaviors more effectively. With teens, I work with those navigating anxiety, mood changes, identity development, peer and family conflict, academic stress, and difficulty regulating emotions or communicating their needs. I aim to provide a supportive space where they feel heard while also building practical coping and problem-solving skills. With adults, I support individuals experiencing anxiety, burnout, depression, relationship stress, self-doubt, or feeling “stuck” in patterns that are no longer serving them. Many clients are looking to better understand themselves, break unhelpful cycles, improve coping skills, and create more balance and direction in their lives. Across all ages, my approach is collaborative, compassionate, and skills-based. I integrate CBT, DBT-informed strategies, and play-based or experiential techniques when appropriate, with the goal of helping clients build insight, strengthen coping skills, and make meaningful, lasting change. For clients who desire it, I also offer the integration of Christian faith as part of the therapeutic process.
Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I take a collaborative, client-centered approach to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Rather than telling you what to do, I'll come alongside you to help you better understand yourself, identify patterns that are no longer serving you, and develop practical skills to navigate life's challenges. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, or difficult life transitions, we'll work together to build tools that support healing, resilience, and lasting growth.
Christian Counseling
If requested, I am happy to integrate Christian counseling into our work together by incorporating faith-based perspectives, Scripture, and prayer in a way that aligns with your beliefs and therapeutic goals.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I integrate DBT-informed strategies to help clients manage intense emotions, improve relationships, tolerate distress, and develop healthier ways of coping with life's challenges. My goal is to provide practical skills that can be used both in and outside of therapy.
Parent-Child Interaction (PCIT)
I use PCIT-informed strategies to coach parents in strengthening their relationship with their child while developing effective, evidence-based parenting techniques that encourage positive behavior, emotional regulation, and healthy family interactions.
Play Therapy
I use play therapy to help children express their thoughts and feelings in a natural, developmentally appropriate way. Through play, children are able to process emotions, work through challenges, and build coping skills in a safe and supportive environment.
