My approach combines medication management with supportive therapy to help clients reach their mental health goals. I take a patient-centered, collaborative, and holistic approach to care, and I believe that strong therapeutic relationships are built on trust, open communication, and mutual respect.
First session
In our first session, we’ll focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship in a welcoming and supportive environment. I’ll take time to learn about your symptoms, mental health history, past treatments, and what you’re hoping to achieve through care. We’ll explore any questions or concerns you may have, and I’ll explain my approach to treatment. Together, we’ll discuss potential options including therapy, medication, or a combination of both and collaborate on a plan that aligns with your goals and values.
Strengths
One of my greatest strengths as a provider is my ability to build trusting, collaborative relationships with clients. I offer a calm, nonjudgmental presence that helps people feel safe and understood, even when discussing difficult topics. My clinical decisions are rooted in evidence-based practices, and I take a thoughtful, individualized approach to both therapy and medication management. Above all, I’m committed to creating a supportive environment where healing and meaningful growth can occur.
Ideal clients
I work with individuals across the lifespan experiencing anxiety, depression, mood changes, sleep difficulties, and stress related to life transitions. Many people I see feel overwhelmed, have difficulty managing their emotions, relationships, and daily responsibilities. I aim to create a supportive and collaborative environment where clients feel heard while we work together to improve symptoms, strengthen coping skills, and move toward a healthier and more balanced life.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help patients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns and replace them with more balanced, realistic thinking. I often incorporate behavioral strategies such as activity scheduling, exposure, and problem-solving to reinforce healthier coping skills. CBT is highly collaborative, so I work closely with each patient to set goals and track progress over time. This structured, evidence-based approach consistently empowers patients to better understand and manage their symptoms.
