About me

Hello there! My name is Erin and I am a dedicated Licensed Independent Clinical Social worker with a passion for fostering embraced engagement and embodying self-authenticity. I bring an integrative and holistic approach to my work and lifestyle, emphasizing the importance of mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness within one’s whole self. Identifying as a woman of color and a person of the BIPOC community, I am aware, empathic, and equipped with a deep understanding of unique humanness, diversity, the necessity for equity, and cultural competence within the therapeutic setting. I am an unwavering believer that everyone has the innate power to heal and build themselves. I achieve this by utilizing Integrative and Humanistic therapy approaches and modalities, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), meditation, mindfulness, and attunement to what fills someone's cup, allowing them to pour into themselves and the world around them. My daily vocation is to make a meaningful impact and walk alongside folx in their life adventure; taking time to connect their dreams and goals with their individual passions, values, and joys.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

An initial session will be a time to honor and appreciate this first step, coming to therapy! We will take time to walk through your life story (as much or as little as you like), is most important to you as a client, and what you want your life to be and feel like.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I can be a grounding presence and very welcoming. I think as a provider, this is helpful for people to feel at ease and curious about themselves and where they want their journey to go from here. I also really pride myself on being curious of others, without forms of judgment or assumption. I love to learn and my eagerness to keep finding new and helpful information is such a fire burner for me that I hope to pass along to clients.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am honored to work with clients during life or career transition periods in their lives, parents and families who have kiddos in their school-aged years, and within elderly populations. I love to serve the underdogs—the people who may or may not know they have a fire in them and where it can burn the brightest. I have a big passion of working with younger children and their families, both individually and as a family unit. I can help guide them back to what they love about themselves and each other, and help build their confidence in emotional regulation and their own relationship with themselves in parenting. I also love working with elderly populations and finding their spark again in new stages of life, because so many factors can be working against them, along with depression and despair being at a staggering increase for that age group. I’m really in to supporting people’s self-esteem and self-confidence; illuminating people’s souls to the brightest it can be, and having them believe in their innate sense of goodness.
