Kristine Asatryan
Hi, I’m Kristine Asatryan, LCSW. Sometimes life can leave us feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward. You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Sometimes, you simply need a safe place to slow down, feel heard, and begin finding your way back to yourself.
My work is guided by the values of respect, kindness, love, family, service, and integrity — the same principles that shape who I am both personally and professionally.
My goal as a therapist is to help you reconnect with your inner strength, find balance, and create a life that feels more peaceful and fulfilling. My philosophy is simple: yesterday is gone, tomorrow is not promised, and today is where we have the opportunity to create change. Together, we’ll focus on the present, build greater self-awareness, and work toward meaningful changes that can lead to lasting growth. I strive to create a warm, compassionate space where you can be yourself and explore what you’re going through without fear of judgment. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, relationship challenges, trauma, life transitions, or simply feeling lost or emotionally exhausted, therapy can offer a path toward greater clarity, healing, and connection. As a mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend, I understand how many roles we carry and how easy it can be to lose ourselves while caring for everyone and everything around us. My approach blends empathy, mindfulness, cultural sensitivity, and practical tools to help you better understand yourself and feel more grounded in your everyday life. My work is guided by respect, kindness, love, family, service, and integrity—values that shape who I am both personally and professionally. If you’re ready to reconnect with yourself and find more confidence, calm, and purpose in your life, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. Sessions are scheduled on the hour (e.g., 3:00 PM), rather than on the half-hour (e.g., 3:30 PM). Thank you for your understanding as we continue improving our scheduling system.
First session
Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll start with a brief introduction and complete the intake paperwork. From there, we’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you hope to achieve, and address any questions or concerns you may have. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, heard, and supported from the very beginning.
Strengths
I am AF-EMDR trained and pride myself on creating a space where clients feel safe, understood, and supported. Building a strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my work — I believe genuine connection is the foundation for healing and growth.
Ideal clients
I would love to work with clients who are ready to move beyond survival mode. They may feel overwhelmed, emotionally reactive, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them—especially within relationships. They are curious, open, and willing to explore the deeper roots of their experiences. Together, we focus not just on coping, but on true healing—helping you feel more regulated, connected, and aligned in your life. However, no matter where you are in life, I am ready to walk alongside you, guide and support you, and patiently wait for you to be ready for change.
Treatment methods
Trauma Informed Care
